    The Community Food Group in Bishop’s Castle that hosts the Community Seed Bank, and delivers the Bishop’s Castle Community Food Resilience Strategy.

    Our local Seed Library with a focus on Food Resilience: because there is no food security without seed security.

  • Community Food Resilience Strategy

    This initiative couples the need for resilience in the face of supply chain disruptions and a bespoke local food response. As the only food strategy in Shropshire, the local council has adopted the plan as the food component of the BC Climate Action Plan.

  • Light Foot

    Light Foot Enterprises is an umbrella charity which hosts various local sustainability initiatives in Bishop’s Castle and the surrounding communities.

    A group delivering on the Climate Action Plan and its supporting projects in Bishop’s Castle to address the climate and nature emergency.
